Junior Technology Analyst – Rosslyn, VA

We’re a boutique DC area tech firm, and as our work with clients continues to expand, we’re looking for an individual to produce awesome work, foster a positive work environment, and skillfully manage projects.
As our Junior Analyst, your responsibilities will include:
Software Quality Assurance (QA):
- Assist senior QA analysts in developing and executing test plans to ensure software functionality meets user requirements.
- Conduct thorough testing of software applications, identifying bugs and defects.
- Document test results and collaborate with developers to resolve identified issues.
Business Analysis Support:
- Assist with requirements gathering and analysis tasks for IT projects.
- Help create user documentation and training materials.
If this describes you, then hopefully you also have:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in a technical support or customer service environment (or equivalent).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of information technology and information systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills to effectively manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to coordinate meetings, provide updates, and document key decisions to ensure transparency and clarity across teams.
- Ability to coordinate and organize project documentation, schedules, and resources to streamline workflows and support efficient project execution.
- A service-oriented mindset, aiming to provide value internally and to our clients wherever possible
- Ability to serve as a bridge between operational stakeholders and development teams in communicating requirements within business workflows
- Understand long-term business objectives and suggest strategies to meet those objectives, through new technologies if appropriate
- Advanced background in using software applications (i.e., Microsoft Office suite tools, mobile email/calendar, etc.)
